We offer 300 campsites from full hook-ups with 50 amp power to tent sites in a wooded setting. Large group campsites are available and all campers have access to four, modern bathhouses throughout the campground. Each campsite includes a picnic table and firebox. Outside firewood is not allowed. Wood, ice and convenience items are available at our office. Registered campers enjoy great discounts at the on-site, indoor municipal pool and near-by Gunflint Hills Golf Course. Other great features of this family-friendly campground include: full service municipal marina, picnic pavilion on the water, rec. hall, playground and Sweethearts’ Bluff Nature Area. Everything is within easy walking distance to downtown Grand Marais. Wi-fi is available for an additional fee

Great Lakes Aquarium
The Great Lakes Aquarium has been located on the Duluth Waterfront since 2000. A freshwater aquarium, GLA features animals and habitats found within the Great Lakes Basin. The Aquarium also houses animals from other freshwater ecosystems such as the Amazon River. A changeable exhibit space is designed to interpret marine (saltwater) animals and habitat and currently features "Masters of Disguise".

Great Lakes Aquarium provides on-site and outreach educational programming to learners of all ages. Daily interpretive programs give guests the opportunity to learn more about resident animals while watching them eat, play or interact with our staff
